Volleyball Recap: East Buchanan Comes Up Short

East Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Oelwein Huskies. If the Buccaneers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Huskies when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Oelwein, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Coincidentally, East Buchanan and Oelwein will both be playing Clayton-Ridge the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Buccaneers will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
