Baseball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Cyclones vs. Ridgeview Mustangs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Pulaski, Cornerstone Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Ridgeview Mustangs by a score of 7-2. This was a revenge game for the Cyclones: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in April, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

Josh Kursell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Cornerstone Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-10 otherwise. Kursell was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
