The Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx are taking a road trip to challenge the Indianapolis Crispus Attucks Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Indianapolis Crispus Attucks took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Purdue Broad Ripple, who comes in off a win.

Purdue Broad Ripple not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024. Everything went their way against Columbus Christian as they made off with a 15-1 win.

Kyler Jones made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Jones was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Purdue Broad Ripple let Jarrett Harris and Carter Brooks run wild. Harris scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, while Brooks scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Brooks a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daniel Pratt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Purdue Broad Ripple always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Columbus Christian only posted an OBP of .421.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Crispus Attucks lost 13-1 to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on Thursday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Indianapolis Crispus Attucks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Purdue Broad Ripple suffered a grim 14-4 defeat to Indianapolis Crispus Attucks in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. Can the Lynx avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
