Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lakeview Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the George Walton Academy Bulldogs. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Lakeview Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 15-13.

Lakeview Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for George Walton Academy, they moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Lakeview Academy will face off against Rabun County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. George Walton Academy has already played their next game (against Johnson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
