Baseball Recap: Pine Island Gets the Win

Pine Island won the last time they faced Lourdes and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-1.

Bennett Matzek was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Landon Lowrie also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

The win got Pine Island back to even at 2-2. As for Lourdes, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
