Valor Preparatory Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 30-24 W over the Carolina International Comets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-13 last Friday.

Valor Preparatory Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaizen Almanzar, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Alivia Robinson, who put up seven points.

Valor Preparatory Academy picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-17. As for Carolina International, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Preparatory Academy will take on Sugar Creek Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carolina International, they will square off against Piedmont Community Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
