Basketball Game Preview: Brevard Blue Devils vs. East Rutherford Cavaliers

The Brevard Blue Devils will head out on the road to take on the East Rutherford Cavaliers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brevard will be strutting in after a victory while East Rutherford will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Brevard turned things around against Chase on Tuesday. They took down the Trojans 66-51.

Meanwhile, East Rutherford played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 84-37 defeat at the hands of Hendersonville. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-19.

Brevard's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for East Rutherford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Brevard couldn't quite finish off East Rutherford in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 66-64. Can Brevard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
