Basketball Recap: Hawkins Hawks vs. Locke Saints
The Hawkins Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Locke by a score of 87-80. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Hawkins' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but De'Meiko Crawford led the charge by scoring 35 points. Kemaun Scott was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Hawkins is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-13 record this season. As for Locke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.
Hawkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Locke also has no future games currently scheduled.
