Baseball Recap: Lomega Gets the Win

The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Panthers on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their one-run performance the match before.

Lomega's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Lookeba-Sickles, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lomega will host Hennessey at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lookeba-Sickles, they will take on Merritt at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
