Volleyball Recap: Plattsmouth Takes a Loss

Plattsmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Conestoga Cougars. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Cougars when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Conestoga scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21.

Plattsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Conestoga, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Plattsmouth and Platteview will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Conestoga, they will square off against Yutan on Thursday.
