East Pennsboro has gone 9-1 against Trinity recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Shamrocks at 4:15 p.m. East Pennsboro will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
It was a proper cat-fight when East Pennsboro took on Camp Hill on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Lions 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Ryan Seibert made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Seibert was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other pitching news, Niko Thalassinos looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024.
Back at the plate, Jovi DeJesus was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lucas Martz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
East Pennsboro was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Trinity's offense. They fell just short of Lancaster Catholic by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Shamrocks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Liam Sexton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Trinity saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garreth Calder, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases.
East Pennsboro's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
East Pennsboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Trinity when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 5-3. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shamrocks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
