Basketball Recap: Pickens' Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Asheville School (Independent), Pickens was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 47-38 win over the Southside Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Flame as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Pickens back to even at 4-4. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickens will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Southside, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Travelers Rest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
