Basketball Recap: Burlington Cougars vs. Sargent Farmers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Burlington walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 50-33 win over the Sargent Farmers on Friday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Farmers, too.
Burlington was led to victory by Kiyarra Williams and Charlotte Goodnow. Williams dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Goodnow posted 13 points and five steals.
