Football Recap: Whitmire Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Whitmire and Lewisville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Whitmire had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 62-0 loss at the hands of the Lions. The Wolverines have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Antonio Price had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 190 yards and three scores on only seven carries for Lewisville. Those 190 rushing yards gave Price a new career-high. Jacorreun Howze also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Whitmire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lewisville, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Whitmire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lewisville, they will square off against Abbeville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
