After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Miyamura, Kirtland Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Gallup Bengals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-11 last Thursday.

The victory snapped Kirtland Central's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-11 record. As for Gallup, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Kirtland Central will welcome Aztec at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gallup, they will head out to take on Shiprock at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bengals are facing the Chieftains at the right time seeing as the Chieftains are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
