Richmond Christian entered their tilt with Lynchburg HomeSchool on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Selena Shelton paced Richmond Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Shelton got some help from Felicity Shelton and her 11 assists. Felicity also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lucy Russell, each putting up four.

Richmond Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Lynchburg HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Richmond Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against James River HomeSchool on the 4th. As for Lynchburg HomeSchool, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Trinity at Meadow View on the 4th.
