Basketball Game Preview: Wells Wells CSD vs. Crown Point Panthers

Wells is 2-8 against Crown Point since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wells Wells CSD will be playing at home against the Crown Point Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Wells was able to grind out a solid win over Seton Catholic Central, taking the game 43-36.

Meanwhile, Crown Point slipped by Wells 62-61 on Wednesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wells CSD recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Wells is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Crown Point, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
