Atonement Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 49-42 to Varsity Opponent. One positive for the Crusaders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Atonement Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore James Klimsak went 8 for 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points. That was a full 61.9% of Atonement Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Atonement Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Atonement Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-27 loss against Non Varsity Opponent on the 12th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next game, a 110-15 defeat against Bethesda Academy on the 10th.
