It's playoff time, and Linton-Stockton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won nine in a row.

Linton-Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Eastern Greene, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Linton-Stockton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-5 win against South Knox on the 27th. Eastern Greene does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
