Apollo has gone 9-1 against Marshall County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Marshals at 7:00 p.m. Apollo has given up an average of 31.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Apollo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Madisonville-North Hopkins by a score of 49-40 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Max Johnson was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 313 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 42 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Marshall County started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Graves County. They fell 21-10 to the Eagles on Friday. The Marshals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marshall County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Apollo, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Apollo against Marshall County when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 54-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
