Softball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Comes Up Short

Sheboygan Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Omro Foxes. Even if the Falcons couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Madison Thill and Chloe Thill stepped up to the plate in a big way. Madison went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Chloe went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Evie Devine also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Sheboygan Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Omro, their win ended a 22-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-17.

Coming up, Sheboygan Falls will welcome Kiel at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Omro, they are taking a road trip to square off against Winnebago Lutheran Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
