Basketball Recap: Wilson Magnet Takes a Loss

Wilson Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 51-23 loss at the hands of the Gates Chili Spartans. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 58-28 to them when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wilson Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Gates Chili, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Wilson Magnet does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gates Chili, they are taking a road trip to take on Early College at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gates Chili is facing Early College at the right time seeing as Early College is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
