Volleyball Recap: Valley View Has No Trouble Against Twin Valley South

Valley View barely beat Twin Valley South the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

Emilee Zinn and Danika Caldwell certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Zinn had nine digs, while Caldwell had 14 assists. Caldwell is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Valley View and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Twin Valley South, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Valley View and Twin Valley South will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Spartans are set to take on their familiar foe Carlisle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Twin Valley South will face off against rival Tri-Village at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
