Football Recap: North Miami Takes a Loss

North Miami played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 39-6 loss at the hands of the Hialeah Thoroughbreds. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Thoroughbreds recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Miracle Washington was a one-woman wrecking crew for Hialeah as she threw for 249 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes. Washington also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending three passes.

North Miami now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hialeah, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, North Miami will head out to face off against Dr. Krop at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hialeah, they will welcome Central at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
