Beech Grove never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Pike Red Devils as they made off with  a  20-0 victory. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  win against them.
 Addison Corn was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mylee Boling, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Beech Grove  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .714. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Beech Grove pushed their record up to 5-7-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pike,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beech Grove will host Monrovia  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pike, they will welcome Warren Central  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.67  runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
