Colonial-Schuylkill - C Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Dante Carr Goes Supernova in Minersville Victory
Starting off the list is Minersville's Dante Carr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carr rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Carr might just drop another big game when he faces off against Panther Valley on Thursday. Carr threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Brady Shomper Makes It Two for Williams Valley
Keeping Thompson company is Brady Shomper, a fellow Williams Valley player. He threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Shomper and Williams Valley will take on Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cardinals, probably because Shomper had a solid game then too: he threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Underclassman Rory Dixon Major Player in Marian Catholic Victory

Pine Grove had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Dixon it was a similar story. Dixon rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown the last time he and Pine Grove duked it out back in October of 2023.
