Mountain View is 9-1 against Ridgeview since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mountain View Cougars will head out to square off against the Ridgeview Ravens at 7:00 p.m. Mountain View will be strutting in after a victory while Ridgeview will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Mountain View beat Caldera 65-53. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Caldera are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Ridgeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 66-52 fall against Redmond.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 9-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Mountain View and Ridgeview were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Mountain View came up empty-handed after a 69-68 defeat. Can Mountain View avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
