Beal City had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Beaverton Beavers 48-46. This was payback for the Aggies, who suffered a 38-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Beal City's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-10. As for Beaverton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

Coming up, Beal City will face off against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meridian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Beal City surely won't give up without a fight. Beaverton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
