Basketball Recap: Ellsworth Comes Up Short

After flying high against Presque Isle last Saturday, Ellsworth came back down to earth. The Ellsworth Eagles fell 55-46 to the Old Town Coyotes on Friday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Old Town, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

While Ellsworth had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
