After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Russell, Mason County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They beat the Calvary Christian Cougars by a goal, winning 2-1. This was a revenge game for Mason County: when they faced off against Calvary Christian back in August, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Noah Gardner and Mason Tackett scored both of Mason County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Mason County's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7. As for Calvary Christian, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mason County will face off against East Carter at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mason County will need to watch out since East Carter have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Calvary Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against St. Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
