Volleyball Recap: Parkway South Comes Up Short

Parkway South's tournament run continued when they took on Lincoln-Way West on Saturday. Parkway South took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln-Way West. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Sidwell paced Parkway South's offense, picking up five kills. Sidwell got some help from Caden Rushing and his ten assists. Finally, Sidwell was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Parkway South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lincoln-Way West, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway South will host Pattonville at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln-Way West, they will be playing at home against Marist at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
