Vaux Big Picture's loss ends three-game winning streak on the road

Recap: Vaux Big Picture vs. Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors
Vaux Big Picture and the Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly Vaux Big Picture had to settle for second. They received a tough blow as they fell 62-46 to the Warriors. Vaux Big Picture's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Leading Sankofa Freedom Academy to victory were Nafise Dubose and Nasir WIlliams. Dubose scored 23 points along with eight rebounds, while WIlliams scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. WIlliams hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jameel Brown, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Vaux Big Picture's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-12.
Vaux Big Picture does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sankofa Freedom Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
