Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Parkland Mustangs, falling 74-20. One positive for the Bobcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kadance Lamonte, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Parkland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Janel Carter out in front who went 6 for 7 on her way to 14 points and eight steals. Carter continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Azari Wilkins, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points along with five assists and four steals.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Parkland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Glenn will take on Reagan at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Reagan will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Glenn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parkland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-42 victory against North Davidson on the 18th.
