Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Jackson-Milton Bluejays and fell 53-12. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-28 back in December of 2024.

Jackson-Milton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amani Yasin out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine steals. Yasin's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nora Schwarten, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 12 points and seven steals.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Jackson-Milton, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jackson-Milton, they will square off against McDonald at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
