Baseball Recap: Kerr-Vance Academy Takes a Loss

Kerr-Vance Academy was the 6-4 winner over Faith Christian when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans fell 5-1 to the Faith Christian Patriots on Tuesday.

Kerr-Vance Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Johnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Johnson also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Kerr-Vance Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Faith Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Kerr-Vance Academy will face off against Lawrence Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Faith Christian, they will square off against Halifax Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
