Football Game Preview: Williamsport Wildcats vs. South Hagerstown Rebels

The Williamsport Wildcats will face off against the South Hagerstown Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Williamsport came up short against North Hagerstown and fell 28-20. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Hubs: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, South Hagerstown lost to St. Frances Academy Regional at home by a 40-21 margin on Friday.

Williamsport's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for South Hagerstown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Williamsport was able to grind out a solid win over South Hagerstown in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 20-13. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rebels' Michael Owens, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, and also threw for 33 yards and one touchdown.
