Volleyball Recap: Queen's Grant Comes Up Short at Home Against Jackson Day

Queen's Grant unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Day Mariners on Tuesday. Stallions fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Mariners since Tuesday.

Jackson Day has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Queen's Grant is set to challenge their familiar foe Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jackson Day will square off against rival NCSSM: Morganton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
