Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Darby Takes a Loss

Hilliard Darby and Dublin Jerome squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Hilliard Darby had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Celtics. The Panthers have struggled against the Celtics recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

While Hilliard Darby ultimately came up short, they really made Dublin Jerome work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 21-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Hilliard Darby now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Dublin Jerome, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Hilliard Darby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dublin Jerome, they will take on Upper Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
