Softball Recap: South Range Extends Road Winning Streak to 17

After only one run in their last contest, South Range made sure to put some runs up on the board against Stow-Munroe Falls on Saturday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Raiders have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

South Range pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Range will welcome Ursuline at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they will be playing at home against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
