Basketball Recap: Fisher Takes a Loss

After flying high against Blue Ridge last Saturday, Fisher came back down to earth. The Fisher Bunnies took a 38-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-Point Chargers on Tuesday.

Fisher now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Tri-Point, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-5.

Fisher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri-Point, they will head out to face off against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley has won seven straight at home, while Tri-Point won nine straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
