Soccer Game Preview: Sabino vs. Catalina

Sabino and Catalina are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but likely not for long. The Sabino Sabercats will welcome the Catalina Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sabino comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Sabino is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell just short of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. Even if the Sabercats couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Catalina made sure to put some goals up on the board against Thatcher on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Trojans have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Catalina's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four games. As for Sabino, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
