Soccer Game Preview: Stephens County vs. Elbert County

The Stephens County Indians will square off against the Elbert County Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Stephens County is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering East Jackson just ended the team's three-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Elbert County kept a clean sheet against Banks County last Friday. They blew past the Leopards 8-0. Victoria Medellin was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Stephens County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Elbert County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
