Volleyball Game Preview: Manzanola Bobcats vs. Centennial Rams

The Manzanola Bobcats will venture away from home to challenge the Centennial Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Manzanola has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Centennial will arrive with three straight victories.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Saturday. Manzanola lost 3-0 to Bethune.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Centennial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Antonito on Friday.

Centennial was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-0.

Manzanola's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Manzanola was able to grind out a solid win over Centennial in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
