Football Recap: DeRidder Find Success + How To Watch

While DeRidder's win against Eunice wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dragons pulled ahead with a 13-12 photo finish over the Bobcats on Friday. The 13-point effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Javaughn Fairley was his usual excellent self, rushing for 92 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Fairley was just one part of a punishing run game: DeRidder was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 177 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

DeRidder pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.3 points over those games. As for Eunice, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
