Basketball Recap: Parsons Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Parsons Vikings ended up a good deal behind the Circle Thunderbirds and lost 55-40. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parsons now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Circle, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Parsons will head out to face off against Labette County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Circle, they will be home for the holidays to greet Winfield on Tuesday. Winfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Circle likes a good challenge.
