Mount Greylock Regional came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Lee Wildcats by a score of 7-3 on Friday. This was payback for the Mounties, who suffered an 11-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kaleigh Jaros was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Jaros was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Jaros wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mila Marcisz, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Kyleigh Cooper also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Mount Greylock Regional picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Lee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Mount Greylock Regional will welcome Greenfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Green Wave's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Mounties' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lee, they will head out on the road to face off against Lenox Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
