Football Recap: Franklin Skates Past East Henderson with Ease

Franklin never let their opponents score on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East Henderson Eagles 59-0. That 59 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Zavion Ensley was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 48 yards and a pair of scores.

Ensley was just one part of a punishing run game: Franklin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 200 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win (which was Franklin's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for East Henderson, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
