Soccer Recap: McMinn Central Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, McMinn Central was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Sequoyah Chiefs could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

McMinn Central's draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-1. Meanwhile, Sequoyah's record is now 2-2-1.

McMinn Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Oliver Springs on the 25th. As for Sequoyah, they will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Loudon at 6:00 p.m. on April 1. The matchup will give Sequoyah their first taste of in-conference action this season.
