Soccer Recap: Lanier County Comes Up Short

Lanier County was the 1-1 winner over Atkinson County when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lanier County Bulldogs fell just short of the Atkinson County Rebels by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Lanier County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Atkinson County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lanier County will welcome Echols County at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lanier County is facing Echols County at the right time seeing as Echols County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Atkinson County, they will host Brooks County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
