Basketball Recap: Jihla Greer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Westwood over Treasure Coast

Westwood lost against Treasure Coast back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Westwood Panthers lost 51-29 to the Treasure Coast Titans. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jihla Greer, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Te'Anaina Rivers, who earned nine points.

Reniah Flynn continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Treasure Coast, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Flynn a new career-high in assists (two). Taliyah Brown was another key player, putting up five points and four steals.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Treasure Coast, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Westwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-30 defeat against Jupiter on the 10th. As for Treasure Coast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-37 loss against Jensen Beach on the 10th.
